Eiffel Hotel

I booked 50 rooms, and almost all of them had toilet problems. The toilets were dirty, the management was poor, and we were promised good service but got what felt like scams and lies. From the reviews, it seems the poor management and lack of upgrades have been going on for 10 years, with complaint after complaint. I've traveled for almost 10 years, and this was the worst experience of my life. DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL. I hope this business stops operating soon. Stop scamming people. DO NOT GO. 0/5 from me. 😡🤬

The location worked really well for my stop in Hurghada: I could walk to the beach, marina and local market, so I didn't need a cab. I was on my way from Luxor to Alexandria and stayed for a day, including a snorkeling day. I arrived at 1 p.m., and reception promptly offered early check-in and had my room cleaned. For the price, it's a decent hotel. The architecture is beautiful, though the place needs cleaning and a major makeover. I agree with many of the comments here, but my experience was pretty decent overall.

I loved the sea view for such a small price, and the private beach was only a 2-minute walk away. The room was very big, with a balcony and a view that reached the marina. The beds were clean and comfortable. The furniture was old and classic but okay. My door wouldn't close properly, and they took three days to fix it. The place wasn't clean. Air comes into the room from behind the entrance door, which could cause health issues. The balcony was dirty and had a broken chair, and the bathroom looked horror.

The location is nice, with a big supermarket two minutes away, plus the marina, shops, restaurants and a beach. The view from the balcony was nice too, with the marina straight ahead and the Red Sea to the side. But this hotel is very, very dirty. Being old wouldn't bother me if it were kept clean. When we checked in at 2 p.m., the receptionist was asleep and we had to wake him. Check-in was quick because nobody else was there. The elevator looked as if it had never been cleaned. Outside room 323, water flooded a dark hallway floor beside a step that was easy to miss, even in daylight. It sat there until evening, when it was wiped up with a guest's towel that had been hanging dirty on the hallway towel trolley. The floor below us was being renovated, and the machines made the walls vibrate all day. The room smelled awful from the bathroom, and the smell stayed even with the balcony door open. There were no towels, soap or other amenities, just one roll of toilet paper. The shower floor had water on it and a piece of soap left by the previous guest. The shelf was close to falling apart, and the balcony railing was very low and felt risky. The beds were soft, but didn't seem to have been cleaned between guests: they smelled, and we found male hair and other things on them. The small fridge was sticky and covered in black mold. Even the only rubbish bin looked decades old and hadn't been cleaned. Everything in the hotel was dusty. We skipped breakfast. It wasn't necessary with so many shops and restaurants within walking distance. At checkout, I told a staff member about all of this. They said the owner doesn't care about this hotel because he has several others making money. I don't blame the staff who work there. I wish people would keep things tidy and clean for themselves and the tourists who come after them. This was our first and last night at the hotel.
