Moon House of Luxor

Having two rooms, two bathrooms, and a living area worked perfectly for our family of five. The staff were attentive and really friendly, and breakfast by the pool was great. The location is close to the ferry for crossing to the East bank, with easy access to the Valley of Kings/queens/nobles. There are also plenty of good, inexpensive restaurants nearby. I’d definitely recommend it.

The courtyard pool was such a relaxing place to spend time, and the location right by the Nile made it easy to reach the temples in just a few minutes. We were a family of five visiting from England and had a lovely stay. The beds were really comfortable, and we slept wonderfully. Abdul was great and helped with anything we needed. The quiet setting was a real plus, and there’s a friendly, adorable cat that makes the place feel homely. Moon House is an easy walk from Khuna’s public ferry, shops, restaurants, and a pleasant stretch along the Nile. The staff were cheerful, polite, and incredibly helpful, whether arranging airport pickup, SIM cards, drivers for the day, or a balloon ride. Thanks Abdallh, Omran. Nasar and Aborhman. Our room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and breakfast was generous, with more available if you asked. If you’re staying in this area, I’d absolutely recommend Moon House. Everyone made the stay even better.

The staff were lovely, and the rooms were comfortable. Meals are prepared to order instead of laid out as a buffet, with a good range of food. It’s also a convenient base for the Valley of the Kings, and the public ferry to the East Bank is only five minutes away. A great place to stay on the Nile’s West Bank.
