It has a warm, family feel, and the manager really sets a good example with how polite and helpful he is, whether it's with the rooms or arranging trips. The location worked perfectly for us, just 10 minutes from the Nile and a minute from a shop for fresh bread or fruit. I recommend it and will definitely come back.

Such good value, and the location is ideal if you're backpacking, close to the bus and train stations. The rooms were clean, and Karam was lovely. He offered us tea and let us leave our backpacks there.

The owner was very hospitable. After checkout, he let me leave my bag and take a shower while I waited for my bus. WiFi was fast, and they provided a modest complimentary breakfast each morning. It's a great-value hostel right in central Luxor, about five minutes from the bus station and ten from Luxor Temple and the entrance to the souvenir shops. There are plenty of local places to eat and convenience stores nearby, and nobody tried to overcharge me as a tourist. The bathroom and mattress were clean, though the room carpets were a little dirty. Toilet paper, soap, and towels were provided. Extremely good value.

The staff member was friendly, but he couldn't do much to fix most of the problems. The breakfast was acceptable, at least. The toilet was broken, there was no hot water in the room, no hair dryer, and the sheet was dirty.
