Nile Carnival Cruise

The rooms were clean and acceptable, and the food was probably the ship’s strongest point. Still, drinks, even water, cost extra, and paying for all-inclusive isn’t worthwhile. The staff mostly seemed very focused on tips, and the cruises need to run on time. They call this a 5-star ship, but at least two stars have long since fallen off. It needs a thorough renovation. The Christmas tree in the loggia was awful, it would have been better to leave it out. I came away very disappointed.

The whole boat smelled awful, and the food was served in the cellar and didn’t seem fresh at all. The pool was a joke. It’s a very old boat, and the staff only care about tips. They’ll rip you off too, a taxi booked on the boat costs $30, while a street taxi costs $3. The Booking rating is amazing, but the truth is quite different. Dirty.

The rooms and bed linen were clean, the food was average, and there was a decent amount of choice. The staff were extremely helpful and creative :-) The ship is old, which you mostly notice from an unpleasant smell, probably from the carpets and also burnt diesel. As a Botel for overnight stays and transfers, it does the job.

The ship’s age shows, and the corridors stink. Apart from that, it was great.
