Bedouin lodge luxor

Dinner must be good if you’ll travel 18 km back to a place after checking into somewhere else. On our last night in Luxor, that’s exactly what we did, because the breakfasts and dinners at Bedouin Lodge Luxor were among the best meals of our Egypt trip. The quiet setting also gave us room to slow down and breathe. Mohamed and everyone at the lodge made us feel welcome without pushing tours, activities, or spending money through them. They gave us space, but were there whenever we needed help. It was a meaningful stay, and we’d come back without hesitation.

At night, tea by the fireplace with the owner and his family was one of the things that made our three-night stay so special. The meals were just as memorable, with traditional food prepared with care. This farm guesthouse near the Memnon Colossus suited our family of seven perfectly. It was peaceful, and we felt like guests in a friend’s home. The people were very kind, took care of every request, big or small, and gave us helpful suggestions for making the most of our time at Bedouin Lounge. If we’re back in the Luxor area, this will be our first choice. Thanks to Mohamed and his staff.

As a woman traveling alone, I felt safe and looked after here. After long days of sightseeing, the pool was a welcome place to unwind and watch the sunset. Mohammed and Ahmed took care of everything, from transport from my hotel to excursions at several sites. I only had three days, so their recommendations were invaluable. The moment I arrived, the lodge’s garden scents, guava, roses, mint, and more, helped me clear my head and let go of things back home. The food was soul satisfying, and they offered fresh juices throughout the day, plus fresh tea. I’m grateful to everyone who made the stay unforgettable. What an amazing experience. I’d definitely recommend it.

I love this place. Mohamed made me feel at home before I’d even gone through the gate, and Ahmed and the whole team were wonderful.
