I stayed three nights with three girlfriends, from 9th-12th Oct 2024. The owner Mohamed invited me to a local Muslim wedding, which became one of the highlights of my Egypt trip. The apartment felt like a home away from home, with lots of space and beautiful views of the Valley of the Kings on one side and fields on the other. It’s a peaceful West Bank base close to the main sights, away from Luxor’s chaos. Breakfast is included and plentiful, and there’s a pool you can use around the clock. For getting to Karnak, Luxor, or the Valley of the Kings, I’d suggest Indrive or Uber. You can also walk to the local ferry and cross to Luxor Temple. The Wannas Art Cafe is about a 20-minute walk, though the walk is dusty, so you might prefer a ride. Our Place - Arts & Craft workshop/Cafe is just down the road and supports disadvantaged people in the area. You can stop for a drink or food, buy jewellery or bags, or take a workshop. One thing to keep in mind: Egypt can be scammy, so agree on the price before you eat, drink, or take a ride. It makes for a much better time.

The staff were so welcoming, even sitting outside to wait for us before our early arrival. They checked that we had what we needed and brought tea, fruit, and cookies to welcome us. Breakfast was amazing, and they made us dinner one evening when we didn’t feel like going out, for less than restaurant prices. The apartment was spacious, with lovely views, and the pool area was wonderful. They also offered rides and recommendations. I’ve never been treated with such warmth and hospitality in any country I’ve visited. This was THE BEST place we stayed in Egypt.

The owner and his brother made us feel really comfortable and were super accommodating. The apartment is huge and has a wraparound balcony. The wifi wasn’t working when we arrived, but the owner tried to fix it right away. Wifi has been hit or miss all over luxor. I’d recommend this place 10/10.

The apartments are really spacious and have everything you need. Whenever we needed something, the staff helped us. When I needed medicine, the owner even took me on his motorcycle to the pharmacy. Brilliant stay.

The apartment was super clean and in a great spot for watching the balloons. The owners were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to welcome us. They picked us up at the port, took me to the market for fruit and explained local prices, brought falafel and fuul for us to try, and helped arrange a boat and balloon for a great price. When I was sick, they even made me a traditional medicine drink. Best place I stayed in Egypt, and definitely one of my favorites anywhere in the world :)
