We booked superior cabins and a suite, and it was one of the best stays we’ve had. Everything was spotless. Still, the staff are what made our three nights unforgettable. Every person was warm and smiling, and it felt like someone would appear to help as soon as you thought of something. For service and atmosphere, I don’t think you’ll find a better Nile cruise in Egypt than Sunray. Many thanks to Mr. Khalid, the manager, and his incredible team. I’d happily do the trip again, and spend all three days on board soaking up that service.

The Nile views were awesome, the food on board was excellent, and the staff were both friendly and helpful.

We had a wonderful time on this four-day Nile cruise, part of a 13-day guided tour covering Egyptian culture from prehistory through WWII. The boat has a very art deco look, very Agatha Christie's Poriot, and it wasn’t crowded during our tour. Our cabin and bathroom were larger than on the Viking boat we’d taken before. The lounge and dining rooms were spacious as well, and meals were excellent and varied, with some buffets and some preselected dishes. The constant downside was the electricity generator. It ran 24 hours a day and was annoyingly loud. Take ear plugs. You’d think they’d know about whisper generators!

The cruise tours were fun, informative, and well planned. Every person working on the ship was so kind, and as a vegetarian I got both buffet options and special vegetarian and vegan dishes that were really tasty. We took the three-night, four-day trip from Aswan to Luxor. The boat and room were comfortable, and I’d definitely recommend it. WiFi was the only real downside. It was especially weak outside the main lounge, though that wasn’t a big deal.
