Our anniversary on the Sonesta St. George Nile Cruise felt like a second wedding. They celebrated with live music on deck and surprises at the restaurant, including a song for us. From arrival to the end of the trip, everyone onboard made us feel special. I can’t remember all their names, but every person we met was wonderful. Special thanks to cruise manager Mr. Ibrahim for his kindness and professionalism, Mina at the bar for the warm welcomes, and Chef Hany for the treats and surprises. The cruise, room, service, views and atmosphere were all lovely. Our guide, Mr. Ihab, was excellent: knowledgeable, clear and enjoyable to listen to, and happy to answer all our questions. It was one of the most magical and authentic experiences we’ve had in Egypt, and our best anniversary celebration. We’d definitely do it again. If you’re considering a Nile cruise in Egypt, this is one of the best experiences you can have.

The food was fantastic, with buffet breakfast and lunch and an à la carte dinner. There was something for everyone, and the fish, chicken, beef and veggie dishes were cooked perfectly. The boat was beautiful, and the room was comfortable with an amazing bathroom. The staff were so friendly and accommodating, just the best. The whole experience was great. I’d choose Sonesta St. George again if I do another cruise.

The tour guide was excellent, and the staff were very accommodating. The kitchen also went out of its way to make vegetarian food for us. We had an excellent time on a well-appointed ship, and I’d highly recommend it.

The crew and staff were a fantastic team running this boat. The executive chef put together a great menu, and there was always plenty to eat. I’ll definitely join them again for another getaway.
