Hostmark Blue Beach Hotel

The Egyptian food was fresh, clean and delicious, and I especially appreciated the traditional dishes as an expat with an Egyptian extended family. The Ladychefcooker is a treasure, so warm and kind. Thankfully, no Antinal was needed. The reception ladies were cheerful and helpful, and the management were professional, attentive, personable and funny. They knew guests by name, even the children, which really showed how much they cared. We met so many lovely people and are leaving with smiles and tears in our eyes. The whole staff and management made our vacation with their hospitality, professionalism and humor. It was a wonderful stay, and we hope to return soon. With such a warm welcome, it's hard to resist. On the first day, I couldn't shower because there was no hot water, and the toilet was broken and unusable. I ended up using the lobby restroom. I had already changed rooms twice that day and gone down to the lobby several times asking for help, but nobody responded. When I asked again the next morning and still got no answer, I went back and complained. Only then did the manager come out. They eventually moved me to another room, but I still had to leave the hot water valve open for more than 10 minutes before hot water came through. I took this trip for a change of scene and instead got really stressed. I never want to come back. I just want to go home. I'd have been much more comfortable and completely unstressed if I'd stayed there.

Menna made a huge impression on me with her kindness, warmth and attentive service. She seemed to know what guests needed before they even asked, and was patient and composed throughout. She treated everyone with the same respect, and her smile could brighten a gloomy day. Being at the hotel with Menna left my emotions drifting like an ocean, because of the pleasure of her presence. Her care went beyond her job. She brought comfort and cheer with real generosity, and made guests feel looked after in a way that's rare. Menna is an outstanding waitress, and her service made the whole stay feel special.
