JAZ Almaza Beach Resort, Almaza Bay

The food was up to Jaz standards, with fresh, high quality ingredients and recipes cooked perfectly. We were on half board. My one food request would be to have soda with dinner instead of powdered juice. They also noticed from my wife's ID that it was her birthday, and after dinner I was surprised to find a cake in our room. The hotel was very quiet when we visited in the off season, with one foreign family and, I think, around a dozen Egyptian families. It was closing on the day we left, November 1. I liked the calm, though imagining it in season made me think it might feel crowded, since the grounds aren't large and there are lots of rooms. I'd definitely visit again, probably off season. Staff were friendly, helpful, professional and keen to serve. The rooms and amenities were always clean, and room service was perfect. Maybe because of when I arrived, the bathroom only had soap and towels, but anything else came when requested. WiFi was fast and worked well almost everywhere. The pool was clean but a little cold, not heated. The beach was breathtaking, with crystal clear water. There was no animation team or activities during this period, but I enjoyed the quiet.

The staff are always ready to help and make the stay even better, and the cleanliness here is unbelievable. Almaza Bay feels like an Egyptian Caribbean, and the hotel has an awesome location. There's also a huge choice of food, and the quality is great. We're definitely coming back.

My favorite place in Egypt. The hotel is peaceful, with wonderful service, very friendly staff and absolutely delicious food. And the beach is easily Egypt's best beach experience. I'd suggest visiting in the off season, when service is better and the sea is breathtaking.

I was at the bar with my family when a hotel employee called Belal took a chair without asking while a couple of my family members were in the toilet. I asked him to bring it back and said he should have checked first, but he was extremely rude. I asked another person to get the manager, but he ignored me and said the manager had left. It was still only 10:20 pm. The way they treated us was disrespectful, and I can't recommend the place because of such rude staff.
