Resort The Zen Wellness Resort

The restaurant was a real highlight, with fresh ingredients prepared so skillfully that the food could have come from a top French establishment. My nights were restful and the bedding was impeccable. Khaled gave me an 80-minute massage that was marvelous and incredibly freeing. I can still feel its effect on my body. My three-day stay was short but wonderful, thanks in part to the pleasant, attentive, responsive staff. I highly recommend the hotel and will definitely return. Warm regards, Gildas ✨️ 🙏

Madame Nadia deserves a mention for the excellent spa treatments. Mr. Farid led a sound yoga session that even my skeptical husband enjoyed, and Marvel, the customer experience manager, really lives up to her name. The villa-style accommodation is unique, elegant, and sparkling clean. The farm-to-table food is delicious, and although it’s a resort, the atmosphere feels calm and private. We had an amazing stay at Zen Wellness, far beyond what we expected.

It’s a peaceful place with friendly staff and a comfortable room. The pool area has lovely Nile views, and some rooms may have them too, depending on where they’re located. The gym in the main hotel area was a bit disappointing. I heard there’s another one about a 10-minute drive away, but I didn’t get time to try it. The hotel is outside the area covered by local tours, so booking a tour seems to mean paying the provider an extra supplement. Since it’s outside the main city, I probably wouldn’t choose it for just one night because of the drive. For a longer stay in a resort-style setting, it’s more suitable.

The view by the river is amazing, the restaurant is great, and the people are kind. As always, Egyptian people are the best. Still, the rooms felt odd and weren’t very comfortable, and the place didn’t feel like a five-star hotel to me. You have to take a shuttle to the spa. For Aswan, it’s awesome, but I’m used to a different feel from five-star places. The restaurant’s choices are limited and I found it expensive. I did have a good experience overall, though I’ve travelled for a long time and can be picky about certain things.
