JAZ Elite Maraya Hotel

Our suite had a private pool overlooking the Red Sea, which was fantastic. The room stayed very clean, and the friendly, attentive housekeeper checked in several times a day. Drinks were brought to us both at the table and by the pool. The kids loved the nearby waterpark, which hotel guests can use for free. We enjoyed snorkeling in the Red Sea, though swimming from the beach is a little awkward since the nearest sandy beach is about 1 km away. We chose JAZ Elite Maraya after seeing its Google ratings and photos, and found it lived up to them and offered good value. We'd happily return.

The kids' club girls and the entertainment staff were excellent, and there was plenty for young children to do. Activities were nicely done and never intrusive, with something for everyone. The hotel itself was clean, with an attractive lobby and a well-designed layout. Staff were friendly, attentive, and ready to help; you can see management stays in touch with guests and keeps working to improve service. Food and drink were less consistent. Breakfast in particular often felt repetitive, the local spirits were almost undrinkable, and the wine wasn't good either. The advertised grilling was more like cooking on an electric griddle. By contrast, the Egyptian evening was excellent, and the chefs clearly knew their stuff. Some Eastern cuisine dishes were very good, and there was an occasional excellent fish dish. The European food was rather underwhelming. I understand an all-inclusive setup has to work within a budget, and I take that into account. We'd still consider staying at JAZ hotels again.

We were thrilled with every part of our time at Jaz Elite Maraya, from the top-notch food and atmosphere to the hotel itself. Housekeeping was awesome, our room was always clean. We'll definitely be back!

We enjoyed the local desserts a lot, they were amazing and felt like a culinary journey. The international desserts were the one letdown, though the rest of the food was delicious. Our room was looked after perfectly by Hoseny, who was always smiling, made sure we had what we needed, and surprised us with lovely towel creations. Thank you, Hoseny, it was wonderful! The property was clean, with a well-kept garden and beautiful sea views. Along the beach, a promenade goes toward the bay and makes for an evening run of about 4.2 km total. In Coraya Bay, we were lucky enough to see a turtle several times.
