We only stayed one night while looking around the city, and the port-side location made getting to the sights easy. The building and furnishings are dated, though the rooms and hallways were clean and had no bad smell. Everything we tried worked, from the water and AC to the lights and fridge, and the bed linen was clean and comfortable. We did spot one cockroach, just the once. Staff were attentive and happy to help, and breakfast was filling. I’d stay here again next time and recommend it.

The rooms are very old, but the location is excellent and the staff are friendly and helpful.

Look elsewhere. The service was bad, the room was dirty, and there was no way to clean yourself in the bathroom. Life’s too short for that. Cheap hotels can still be run properly, but this one isn’t.

The staff were cheerful and helpful, and they let me leave my luggage until the evening, when I had a minibus to Dahab. The hotel is central, within walking distance of the main streets, and the basic room was comfortable enough for my one-night stay in Port Said. Check the online price: they first quoted me 500 Egyptian pounds for a single, then lowered it right away when I showed them the same room listed cheaper online. Breakfast was very simple, and tea wasn’t included. For the price, it wasn’t okay that they provided no towels, soap, or toilet paper.

The rooms are old, but the bathrooms are good. Breakfast is fair for the room rate. Housekeeping, room service, and the restaurant service were not good.
