The gardens are well kept and the pools are in nice condition. The estate is generally quiet, though there are no shops on site at the moment. Delta Sharm is a short walk away, with cafes, a supermarket, and restaurants. The resort started in 2008, but construction stopped when the building company went bust during the recession, then was delayed further by COVID. The early apartments, covering over a quarter of the estate, are now being renovated to a high standard. Work has also started on finishing the rest of the estate up to Carrefour and the main road.

It’s Saturday, nearly midnight, and people in the apartment next to ours are still working with all kinds of machines. This construction has been going on for weeks, and the noise usually carries on until 2 am. We’ve complained, but nobody has paid attention. It’s so frustrating, we can’t sleep, and we paid for this.
