Ghazala Beach

The beach was our favorite part: wide and sandy, with a gentle entry into clear water, plenty of umbrellas and loungers, and the children spent nearly all their time there. The grounds were also lovely, green with palms and flowers, clean paths, and lots of shade. Our room was spacious and clean, everything worked, and it was cleaned well every day. We stayed as a family from 08.04 to 12.04 and were mostly satisfied. Meals were a letdown. There wasn’t much choice, the same dishes kept coming back, and the food was often bland or tasteless. There was little variety and not much fresh fruit, which wasn’t convenient with children. Most staff were polite and friendly, with hardworking maids and attentive waiters, but one person spoiled the impression. We tried several times to get help from Oksana at Guest Relations. She stood at the desk pretending not to see us while looking at her phone or monitor, and when we finally got her attention, she helped very reluctantly. On departure day, after apparently not seeing us for days, she came over with a brazen smile and kept pushing us to write a positive review. Maybe she doesn’t remember faces. In more than 15 years of family travel, we haven’t met such disrespectful, unprofessional behavior at reception. The hotel is good, with beautiful grounds and an excellent beach, but Oksana’s conduct left us with a bad feeling. One employee like that can have a big effect on the overall impression.

The staff were the resort’s strongest point. They were warm, welcoming, and smiling, with an optimism that nearly made me forget the many shortcomings. The location is another real advantage, and I enjoyed the beach activities and evening shows. The rooms, however, are old, with very dated furniture, and cleanliness was extremely poor across the resort, including in the restaurants. There’s no internet in the rooms, and the Wi-Fi at reception only works intermittently. Some might consider it good value, but I think the resort needs much more attention to cleanliness and food quality.

The food was fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented each day, and I appreciated how clean the hotel was and the recent renovations. The hospitality was the best part: everyone I met was kind, attentive, and seemed to care about guests’ comfort. A special thank you to Mr. Osama Abdelhalim, the head manager, for a wonderful stay at Ghazala Beach Hotel. From arrival to departure, everything exceeded my expectations, thanks to him and his team. Mr. Mohamed, the Reception Manager, was professional, welcoming, and supportive throughout. I’m also grateful to the restaurant staff, especially Mohamed and Manar, Ahmed el dashash, who were always smiling and helpful. Thanks again, Mr. Osama, for leading such a dedicated team. I enjoyed staying at Ghazala Beach Hotel and already look forward to coming back.

The buffet was very good, and the staff were friendly and professional. Muhammad Ali, the housekeeper, was especially great, super friendly, and cleaned the room really well. The hotel is right on the beachfront, and I’d recommend it and definitely stay again.
