SENTIDO Reef Oasis Aqua Park Resort

The grounds are absolutely beautiful, and the staff work tirelessly to keep them pristine. It was fairly quiet during our stay, but there are SO many pools and bars, so finding a quiet spot would never be a problem. The house reef is second to none. You do get used to the floating jetty, honestly! The buffets, especially Mo's, were superb. The Italian and Indian à la carte restaurants were fabulous too. We ran out of time to visit Kevaby, so I'd advise booking the à la cartes early. The alcohol was decent. It wasn't branded, though branded options were available for a charge, and it was the best I've had across Egypt. We couldn't fault our wonderful stay at the Sentido. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the staff couldn't do enough for us. We wouldn't hesitate to return and would happily recommend it to everyone. Shokram Sentido, we'll be back!

The room was a little tired and needed updating, but our cleaner kept it absolutely spotless every day. We were spoiled by the staff. Both bell boys, Ahmed, drove my partner wherever he needed to go, even all the way to the sand, because he's disabled and can't manage the shuttle bus and short walk onto the beach. Ali at the Blue bar made our time by the pool and at the bar so enjoyable. He remembered our drinks and would come find us to make sure we had one. Food, drinks, and pools were wonderful. Service really stood out, with staff going above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and happy. The head chef at Mo's was clearly proud of the restaurant. He spent time on the floor as well as overseeing the kitchen, making sure everything was beautifully presented and guests were happy. The waiters were very attentive too, especially Atal, who served us most days. We noticed the difference when we visited Reef resort, where the service didn't have the same personal touch. We'd just returned from an amazing holiday at Sentido Reef Oasis, the more upmarket sister hotel to Reef Oasis beach resort. Sentido guests can use the whole Reef resort, while Reef guests can't access any of Sentido. We'll most definitely be back!

The area was clean, the food was great, and the beach was nice. But compared with other hotels of similar quality and price where I've stayed, I'd rate this one 3 stars. The rooms are dark and need renovation. Customer service was poor, and the staff didn't seem to care about guests. I wouldn't recommend the sauna either. Even after booking ahead, it was cold when I arrived, so I had to wait for it to heat up. Management should take a look at what 5-star customer service is like at other hotels in the area.

The reef was the highlight for me. There was always something new to see, and I came out of the water smiling every time. The food was great too, with lots of international options made in small batches, so it stayed fresh. Even the desserts tasted as good as they looked, which is rare. Cocktails followed recipes, so a mojito tasted like a mojito every time. There are plenty of pools, and the one near mo.s restaurant is heated. The beach was busier than last year, and finding a reserved bed could take some searching. If you need shade, keep in mind the umbrella shadows move quickly. I also appreciated that nobody kept trying to sell us spa treatments, diving, or excursions. That made a real difference.
