Al-Manara Hostel Siwa Oasis

For two days, I stayed somewhere clean, comfortable, and well looked after, with a host who made everyone feel welcome. I also got plenty of useful local tips. It’s a friendly, hassle-free place, and one of the top hostels in the area in my view, for its price, service, and location.

ABDO was incredibly helpful and even took me in his vehicle to see some of the best places in Siwa. He could use a bit more English, though. The hostel is central in the small oasis, the prices are reasonable, and despite Siwa being remote and rather primitive, everything here was clean and tidy. The air-conditioned rooms were hygienic too. One of the best hostels I’ve visited. Thanks for having me overnight.

Abdallah, the manager, is warm, polite, and always ready to help. The shared rooms have just two beds, which makes for a quieter hostel stay, and there are two bathrooms, so you can use the other if one is occupied. There’s a working kitchen, fridges for storing your things, reliable Wi-Fi, and a tasty breakfast. A lovely place with lovely people in Siwa. You may find yourself staying longer than planned.

I spent two days at Al-Manara Hostel in Siwa Oasis, and it was a wonderful stay. The relaxed, welcoming atmosphere and well-maintained facilities made a good impression as soon as I arrived. The host was especially friendly and helpful, going out of their way to make sure I had a great time. I wholeheartedly recommend Al-Manara Hostel to anyone coming to Siwa.
