Albabenshal Lodge in Siwa won us over after a rocky start. By the end, we’d made real friends, and we’d definitely come back. The place had the raw beauty, charm, and authenticity of an oasis in the desert, like being in an Aladdin movie. The food was incredibly fresh, some of the best we’ve ever had. Give the kitchen time to prepare it, because it’s worth the wait. Osmam deserves a special thank you for attentive, kind, professional service and going above and beyond to make us happy. We stayed at Albabenshal Lodge in December 25 and loved the generous breakfast and the staff’s helpful advice. Built on part of the Shali Fortress, the hotel sits right in the heart of Siwa Oasis, near shops and restaurants. Our spacious room had a lovely terrace over the lively town, and the rooftop terrace was a beautiful spot for tea and views. A true must-visit in Siwa!

I keep choosing Albabenshal Hotel for trips to Siwa because of Salama. People come just to see his smile, and he’s there from early morning until he personally locks up the lodge at night. He’s helpful, kind, respectful, and one of a kind. I think he should be a symbol of Siwa’s tourism. This review isn’t about the lodge itself, since Siwa has many lovely places to stay. It’s about Salama’s care and presence, which bring me, my friends, and people I know back and make the vacation unforgettable.

Bab Anshal is right in the heart of Siwa, and the hotel is clean, welcoming, and beautifully kept with close attention to detail. The management is excellent, and the staff are warm and attentive. It’s an eco-friendly place with charming rooms, though there are no showers inside them. A stay here reflects Siwa’s authentic spirit.
