Amzran Hotel

We drove from the direction of Luxor after checking with the hotel in advance about whether the route was accessible. We shared a detailed route map and our timing, and were told there would be no problem. More than eight hours into the drive, the army stopped us and said a pass was required to use that road because it was an army road. The hotel had told us it was passable without a pass. When we asked to cancel, they refused. They later checked and confirmed that a pass was needed, then told us to return to Cairo. We had to leave without completing our stay, but the hotel still refused a refund, so we had to cover the full cost of all four nights. A very bad travel experience.

A peaceful, quiet place with a nice view and friendly staff. I totally recommend it.

The rooms were clean, and the staff were friendly.

Amazing 😍
