Baraka Camp

Ziad deserves a special thank you for all his help with my sister’s wedding. He was attentive and kind, and made sure every detail was right, which made the day unforgettable. We had a wonderful stay at Baraka Camp. The place is peaceful, clean, and has an authentic feel that made it special. The food and drinks were really good, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Thanks to Baraka Camp, and an even bigger thank you to Ziad. We’ll definitely come back! 🌿✨

The food was delicious and everything seemed good quality. I had a veggie pizza one night and fajitas the next, plus fresh juices and smoothies or milkshakes. Breakfast was included when I visited, with omelettes and other options, so check whether that applies. You can eat in your room, by the beach, or at the restaurant, where there’s also ping pong and a pool table. The beach is relaxing, but it isn’t for swimming. It’s used for snorkeling, paddle boarding, and rafting or boating, and the area is known for coral reefs. You need shoes to walk out, and should be ready for holes where you can swim and see underwater. Masks are available if you ask. Qadi, the manager, and the rest of the team go above and beyond to help with any need. The rooms are simple and comfortable, and stay cool when you need to get out of the sun. Don’t let the affordable price put you off. Have them arrange a taxi pickup at the airport or border so you don’t have to deal with drivers waiting to take advantage of you. The system at the border is a little scary! I’m only sorry I couldn’t stay longer.

I spent a week here on my own as a solo female traveller and had a wonderful time. I felt completely safe, and met lovely travellers from Israel, Egypt and Jordan. Baraka Camp is full of friendship, beauty, and relaxation. The staff were hospitable, helpful, and always good-natured. The food was tasty, better than at many places nearby, and they even take care to plate it beautifully. The new bungalows have clean, new bathrooms and hammocks out front. The bed linen was clean, the blanket was nice, and all the electricity worked. The beach is sandy, but to reach the water you walk over a soft, flat rocky area to the drop-off for snorkeling. The South Sinai reef seems to have been suffering in recent years, unfortunately, though there are still fish and corals. I’ll definitely return!

Baraka Camp was very clean and well maintained, which made for a comfortable, relaxing stay. The staff were super friendly and always ready to help with a smile. The food was amazing, fresh, delicious, and full of flavor. Great for anyone wanting to relax, eat well, and get excellent service. Highly recommend it!
