The food and easy beach access were lovely, and the facilities are beautiful. Strand Beach Resort is in a fascinating spot, at the corner of four different countries. The staff welcomed us with smiles and kindness, which was a comfort after we evacuated from Israel. There were plenty of things to eat, although they couldn’t provide gluten-free bread, so more choices for people with food allergies would help. We also found sand in the shower when we checked into our room. We forgot to report it, but cleaning needs to improve. We hope to come back!

We booked at the last minute after finding a bus that leaves for Cairo from the hotel, and it turned out to be a wonderful choice. Everything, including the grounds, was incredibly clean, and the food was great. For the price, breakfast, lunch, and dinner buffets were all included, and everything was delicious. They even packed a lunch for our 1 pm bus ride to Cairo. Much appreciated, and thanks, Strand!

A wonderful experience, thanks in particular to Chef Karim and Chef Ahmed Saad. The food was amazing and the service outstanding. I don’t want to single out just a few people, though, because the whole kitchen and restaurant team were friendly, professional, and very helpful. Everyone helped make the experience great. Highly recommended!

The service was outstanding, and everything was well organized. Staff were so polite and always ready to help with a smile. My room was spacious, very clean, and comfortable, and the location is perfect. I had a wonderful stay and will definitely visit again.

The mountain and sea views are magical, and the sea itself is good. Most staff are friendly, but some policies could use fine adjustments. I stayed for three days and the food was nearly the same each day. Snacks and drinks were very poor and need improvement. The lagoon was in very bad shape and couldn’t be used at all during my stay. The hotel should clear a safe, clean route through the coral to the sandy part of the sea, so guests who have trouble walking over rough ground can reach it more easily. The facilities can’t accommodate a large number of guests.
