A Carballeira Do Tambre

We only had a day here, which was a shame, because we’d happily return. The restaurant food was a real treat, and the owner was lovely. Staff were attentive throughout. The rooms have a kitchenette and sofa bed, while the huge jacuzzis come with music and lights. Everything was spotless and very well cared for.

Our Bidueiro cabin was clean, well equipped, and clearly looked after. Irene was friendly and helpful, walked us through everything, and kept checking if we needed anything. We appreciated how carefully they handled gluten-free breakfast, served separately to avoid cross-contamination, and how clearly they explained dinner allergens. You can have either meal brought to your room. We’ll be back.

We felt right at home thanks to Irene and Domi’s wonderful hospitality. The apartments were great, and the location worked perfectly for our couple of days there as a family. The restaurant is worth a visit too, the food was top-notch. We’ll definitely return.

Our room was on the small side, but comfortable, tastefully furnished, and beautifully renovated. The property fits right into the countryside, about 30 minutes from Santiago de Compostela. Breakfast was delicious, and Domi cooks brilliantly. I’d highly recommend booking dinner too, it was very, very good.
