The welcome here is as lovely as the countryside around it. The staff are warm and helpful, and breakfast comes with homemade jams, fresh waffles, and good coffee. Our room was far more spacious than I expected, with a high timber ceiling and a big bed on a mezzanine, plus the modern basics like WiFi. The old stone building has been restored with real care, including one wall that's actually a huge Ice Age boulder. It sits in a quiet village, well away from the crowds in the better-known areas. A little Spanish is useful, but this is a wonderful place for a peaceful stay and a taste of Spanish hospitality.

The cook and owner were both so friendly, and the village has a really unusual landscape. Dinner was delicious, but breakfast was on another level. You absolutely have to try their sponge cake, I've never had one that good. What a beautiful, striking hotel. I loved it.

Such a good spot for switching off, with peaceful surroundings and lovely scenery all around. We brought our pet, and it was an ideal place for them too. The room looked just like the pictures, maybe even better, and had lots of thoughtful little details. The staff were so kind and attentive, and the food was excellent. We'd definitely come back.

We were lucky to find a room here when we came to see the Perseids at Pena Trevinca. It was a lovely, quiet night surrounded by nature, and in the morning there was a generous, delicious homemade breakfast. A great choice if you're after peace and a place that feels like home. We'll certainly return!

A charming hotel in a quiet mountain village in Ourense. The old stone house has been beautifully brought back to life, keeping the area's rustic materials while adding modern touches and big windows. The rooms feel bright and open, but still warm and welcoming. A lovely setting all around.
