The village is wonderfully quiet, with hardly any traffic, so sleeping well was easy. The Casa is also in a light protection zone, which makes it excellent for stargazing, and there are beautiful, challenging walks nearby. The owners are incredibly welcoming, know the area well, and cook fantastically. I'd return for the food alone. I'd recommend this place to anyone.

My husband and I chose this place after reading the Google Maps reviews, and we're glad we did. It's even prettier than the photos suggest, and Eduardo is such a kind, friendly host who makes you feel at home. Honestly, take those good Google reviews seriously. It was a 10/10 experience, one we'd love to have again.

The area is great for hiking and looking at the stars, and the house itself is a cool, welcoming place even when it's 40 degrees outside. It's full of character and makes you want to sit down with a good book. We had a 10/10 stay at O Eido das Estrelas. Balder, a charming little dog, greeted us and kept us company all weekend. Eduardo was a delightful host, polite and helpful, and an amazing cook. It's very affordable too. We'll definitely be back.
