Albergue Xabarin

I treated myself to a private room on my last walking day of the trip, and wow, it felt like a good hotel. The host was lovely and helpful, and everything was pristine. One thing to plan for: on Sundays and feast days, most places in this small town may be closed, and public transport isn’t great. Most people are just passing through, though. One of the best places I’ve stayed on the Camino, and a great place to stay.

After a long day of walking, this is a really nice place to rest. The rooms were clean and spacious, with made-up beds and large mattresses, and the bathrooms and showers were good and clean. The host was extraordinarily helpful, and the kitchen was very well equipped. Breakfast was good if toast, jam, and endless coffee are your thing.

It’s well equipped for pilgrims, with a shop nearby and a restaurant that serves a pilgrim’s menu.

Such good value for money, and just what we needed before finishing our Camino. The place was perfect and clean, and the staff made us feel so welcome.
