The owners don't speak English, but they did their best to communicate and used Google Translate when needed. It's a nice agrotourismo, with warm rooms and a kitchen for making your own food if you don't want to try the local bars and restaurants.

The owners are very nice, and the rooms are beautiful. It's a really quiet rural spot, well placed for spending a few days exploring Durango and other places nearby.

6/10
It's reasonably priced, and the location works well as a base for driving around the area. But the rooms were dusty and the cleaning was minimal. The farmhouse has agricultural activity attached, so things start up before dawn, which could bother light sleepers. It was very hot and humid when we stayed, and there was no air conditioning. Opening the windows meant letting in all sorts of insects because there were no screens.

The owners are lovely, and Pela completely stole my heart. The farmhouse has such a special feel, like stepping back in time, and the surroundings are wonderfully peaceful. It was a great rural stay, and I'd happily do it again. I'll be back!
