The terrace was a nice extra, and the hostel sits right in the middle of a very quiet little town. The woman on staff was really friendly and easy to talk to. There was plenty of room in the lockers, and the mattress was thick and comfortable. The toilets and showers were spacious and very clean. Thanks so much for the welcome and the place to stay.

The stay itself was great. Thunderstorms in the Pyrénées meant I arrived very late, but the staff kindly worked around my request and accommodated me.

I don't usually choose hostels, especially when I'm traveling alone, so this was a really nice surprise. After a long drive, I sat on the terrace and ordered pan con tomate with meat and cheese. It was a Saturday evening and the whole town seemed shut. The beds were comfy, with outlets conveniently placed for charging a phone, and the bathrooms were clean and pleasant. Parking is free, too. The staff were very friendly without hovering. I was just passing through on my way toward the basque country.

Adahuesca is a charming little town, and the owners here are so friendly. They were willing to help us with anything. We had a great time at this hostel.

We were looking for food after hiking in the canyons, before heading back to Alquezar, and had almost given up because everywhere else in the towns seemed closed. This lovely little place was open, with a varied menu, nice music, and very clean toilets. The owner was friendly and spoke excellent English. The rosé wine was delicious. Even if you're staying in Alquezar, it's worth the five-minute drive down for food that's far better than what we found there. Highly recommend stopping in or staying.
