The welcome pack of milk, beer and wine was especially appreciated, and the property agents were excellent. They gave me the best communication I've had. The location is excellent too, with local shops nearby for provisions and buses or taxis making it easy to get around the island. Casa Libra was generally excellent, and the pool warmed well in the sun, though it's on the small side. I think the owners should install air conditioning, since the ceiling fans aren't quite enough when it gets really hot. We had a wonderful time and I'd go back.

The landlord was responsive and very helpful, and we had a great time in La Caleta. The place is bright and well located, with lovely evenings spent by the pool. I do wish there were air conditioning and a heated pool, as the water can be around 20C in March. Still, I can recommend it for families.

We appreciated that the house could be used until 5 pm on departure day without an extra charge, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The pool was regularly maintained, and restaurants in La Caleta bay are an easy walk away. The house itself is spacious and well maintained, with three bedrooms, three bathrooms and terraces on both floors. The kitchen could use better equipment, including cutlery, knives, a proper coffee maker and decent barbecue utensils, though minor issues were dealt with right away. The biggest problem was noise. The house is right next to a bus stop and taxi rank, so restaurant guests and taxis can disturb you if you go to bed early. Across the street, restaurant owners start putting bottles and cans into the recycling containers after 11:00 PM. Trucks empty the full containers once a week between 1:30 AM and 3:30 AM, and on other nights the garbage was collected at night too. Not a place for light sleepers. Given the noise, the rental price of €1250-€1400 per week, depending on the season, is too high.
