We loved our holiday here. The owner was so obliging, and the place had thoughtful details and was well equipped. Our dogs had a fabulous time on the huge lawn, with lots of walks close by. Highly recommend it.

The house itself is very nice, but the problems we had made the stay unpleasant, and I wouldn't return. We have videos of everything, though the site won't let me upload them, so I can only share screenshots. On the first day, water from the upstairs shower leaked through the ceiling and soaked the ground floor. We reported it on WhatsApp and were only asked if we needed more towels, with no real fix offered. When we followed up, someone else replied and said they could come by sometime in the afternoon to look. We had too many plans to spend the whole afternoon waiting, so we couldn't use the upstairs bathroom. The stove was another issue. Smoke poured out of the flue and the top when we turned it on, filling the room. We filmed it because it was impossible to stay in there. The accommodation provider's service felt poor and rather arrogant, and they didn't take responsibility. They say the rented house has the whole garden, which I don't doubt, but people live in another house on the property that shares a wall with Caí Lope. So the advertised privacy isn't really there.

Asturias never disappoints, and this area is especially peaceful. The company managing the stay did a great job and the service was superb. We forgot a ring and only found out because they called while we were heading home. They explained how to have it sent to my address. Fabulous!

It's nice, but not very comfortable. The beds are just okay, and everything creaks, from the floors to the doors. The place is very dark because the old windows are so small. There's a bathtub bathroom upstairs in the attic that can't be used as a shower, and the other bathroom is tiny. With six of us, that wasn't ideal. The entrance is very narrow, so you have to be careful not to scrape the car. You'll need the car for everything, too, since there's nothing nearby.

The setting is spectacular, and the accommodation was immaculately clean. I booked it for a family trip and it turned out to be a great choice. The service was top-notch, and I'd highly recommend it.
