Apartamentos Rurales Buenamadre

What keeps drawing me back to the Buenamadre rural apartments is Rosalía. She’s passionate about Somiedo and knows the stories behind practically every rock and tree. Listening to her makes discovering the area on my own feel completely different, and it’s a real privilege. I’ve stayed here several nights, and she’s left me wanting to return again and again. The estate has lovely mountain views and swings, and the location is ideal for exploring the spectacular Somiedo Natural Park. The breakfasts change daily, which we love, and use local products grown and harvested practically where they’re eaten. For me, every stay is a resounding 10.

Right in the heart of Somiedo, this place feels magical. Rosalía is so warm and friendly, and she knows the natural park incredibly well. I’ll be back again and again.

I slept really well here, thanks to the very comfortable bed, clean sheets and bedspreads, and how peaceful everything was. The garden is beautifully kept and a lovely spot for breakfast or watching the sunset. Best of all was the hostess, who was friendly and attentive, showed me some beautiful places, and helped me find my way around the area. Great value for rural accommodation.

We stayed as a pair in October and would happily come back. Rosalía knows the area so well that we asked her loads of questions, and she gave us several ideas for places to visit nearby. She also offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner menus. The apartment was cared for down to the last detail and had a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom, two single beds, a small living room, and a balcony facing the front of the house. The property is large and lovely to walk around. The house has a ground floor where the owner lives, with the apartments upstairs.
