Haciendas IV

We paid extra for a sea view but got a view of the parking area, and never received a refund. There was no parking available in the evening, so we had to walk. The reception desk wasn’t helpful, and staff were only there for a few hours a day, leaving us to deal with problems ourselves. It’s all self check-in and check-out. Our room was for five, but had no sheets for the fifth person and no dining room chair for them either. Because of our early flight, we left the second-key deposit of 25 euros behind, and they showed no intention of returning it. The worst place I’ve stayed in Tenerife.

It was very peaceful at night, and the pools were nice. The heated one by reception was great, while the other two were a bit cold. The view was brilliant once we’d climbed the steps, and the apartment was a good deal for the price. The sofa bed was in poor shape and wouldn’t sit properly. Otherwise, no complaints. Reception staff were helpful whenever we managed to get in touch.

Our two-bedroom bungalow was spacious and clean, with the extra convenience of a washing machine. We got all the laundry done before heading home. There are three small pools, and on most days we could find a sunbed without trouble.

The views from Apartment 424 were brilliant, and we had a lovely big balcony. The place was spacious, and the staff were so welcoming. Laura was especially helpful. It’s a bit of a walk uphill from the beach, though that made for good exercise. I’d definitely stay here again.
