Issa at reception deserves a special thanks. He was so friendly and professional, and always ready to help with a smile. I had a lovely stay here. The apartments were clean, comfortable, and well cared for, and the atmosphere was calm and welcoming. The location was convenient too. I’d recommend it for a pleasant, stress-free visit and look forward to returning.

Our fifth visit to Tenerife, and this was the best one yet. We spent 12 nights at Royal Sunset Beach Club and loved the great location, intimate feel, and very friendly staff. Even the other experienced travelers we met kept saying good things about the place. Highly recommend it! See you again!

The room was nice, clean, and good value, and the staff were friendly. It’s in a tourist area, so you do hear some party noise. It wasn’t too much, but I’d pick somewhere else if I wanted a quiet stay.

We had cockroaches in the room, apparently getting in through a large gap under the entrance door, even though we were on the first floor. I don’t like to imagine what the ground-floor rooms are like. The air conditioning had no heating option, so we were a bit cold at night. During our seven-day stay, the room was cleaned just twice, and both times the work was very superficial. The bed was another problem: it squeaked with every movement, the frame had noticeable gaps, and the spring noise made it hard to sleep. We’d booked a studio for two but only got one set of towels to share. Pool towels cost €2 a day or €8 a week, reception coffee was €2 or €1.50 with your own cup, and parking was an extra 48 euro for a week. Checkout was at 10:00 AM, and late checkout came with surprisingly high charges. At the pool bar, anything under 5 euro had to be paid in cash, so a 4 euro coffee couldn’t be paid by card. It felt as if every small convenience cost extra. Most of all, the stay left a bitter aftertaste and I don’t think I’d choose Royal Sunset Beach again.
