Hotel Riu Buenavista - All Inclusive

The coastal paths are easy to reach from the resort, and we enjoyed the views and peaceful setting. The nearby beach is rocky, though it’s nice for a walk, and sandy beaches are within easy reach by car, taxi or public transport. We also liked the several pools and the daily pool fitness classes. Our room was comfortable, clean and well kept. Food and drinks had good variety for both children and adults, and the entertainment team put on activities and shows each day. Staff throughout the hotel were friendly, professional and hardworking. Hotel Riu Buena Vista has lovely ocean views and a relaxed feel that made it easy to unwind. We had a wonderful family holiday and would happily return. It seems like a good fit for families, couples and people who like to stay active.

We’re already hoping to come back, and have recommended it to family. We had no real complaints, everything felt just right. The coastal path beside the hotel was lovely, and the sunsets from there were stunning. We hired a car to get around at our own pace. There’s also a small shopping centre up the hill. On site, parking was available for a reasonable cost; we booked it for our whole stay because street spaces were very hard to find. There was entertainment for all ages, and we went to both the white party and neon party. A lot of work went into them, with preparations starting early in the morning. Music usually stopped around 11. We were near the noise, but closing the balcony door and using the air conditioning made it easy to sleep. On the white and neon party nights, once a week, we could hear it a bit more. The food options were great. We booked two of the three restaurants, and liked the grill enough to go a second time. They turned tables around quickly, with indoor and outdoor seating. The unbooked restaurant had plenty of dishes for different tastes, plus a good choice of desserts. Drinks were available for self service 24 hours a day, or from the bars when they were open. My partner loved the coffee there. It was a lovely start to our honeymoon. The staff were so friendly and went the extra mile, leaving a bottle of fizz in our room and folding towels into swans. They took our bags to a nice, big, very clean room. We couldn’t fault it.

The kids spent most of the day moving between the excellent pools, stopping for drinks at one of the many bars around the hotel. The staff were brilliant and welcoming, and looked after guests really well. I’m quite picky, but honestly I can’t think of anything bad. Hopefully we’ll come back and do it all again. Our room was one of the best I’ve stayed in. It was spacious, had a lovely balcony view, and was clean and air conditioned. Room service was good, too. The shower room had two sinks, and the bed was a proper double rather than two singles pushed together. There were lots of freshly cooked food choices, served hot, and a good range of drinks. I had one too many hot chocolates, while the kids had plenty of fizzy pop, though healthier options were available as well.

The pools were lovely, including an adults only option, and the surrounding areas were spotless. Lifeguards were always on shift. The animation team worked incredibly hard to make the holiday special. We’d definitely recommend this hotel and return. Rooms were spacious, very clean and tidied to a high standard every day. Check in was quick and efficient, and the staff were super friendly. There was always something we liked on the food menu. At breakfast, we often chose Atlantico and sat outside overlooking the sea. Bottled water was available to help yourself to at the reception bar whenever you wanted, and the all inclusive drinks ran 24 hours. Bar staff were cheerful, smiling and happy to chat.
