HOVIMA La Pinta Beachfront Family Hotel

This was our third visit to HOVIMA La Pinta Beachfront Family Hotel, and the whole place again felt set up for a relaxed, stress-free holiday. The hotel is spotless, with spacious, comfortable rooms, plenty of food choices each day, and a great atmosphere. The location is excellent too. The welcome from the staff is genuine, and they go out of their way to make the trip special. Georgia and the animation team were incredible, friendly, attentive, and always happy to help. We wouldn’t choose anywhere else in Tenerife now. Highly recommended for families, couples, or anyone looking for caring service, and we’re already counting down to next time.

Giorgia and the team remembered us from our previous stay, which was such a lovely welcome. They made us feel at home from check-in and couldn’t do enough for us. We spent 10 days here at the beginning of December, our second time at HOVIMA La Pinta Beachfront Family Hotel. Our two boys loved the kids’ club, and the animation team were full of energy, kindness, and genuine enthusiasm. Daniel and David deserve a special mention for making the best Sangria and Mojitos and bringing such a fun atmosphere. The rooms are clean and spacious, and the location is excellent. Both times we’ve stayed in a Superior Sea view room. We’re already looking forward to coming back. Thank you!

The girls felt so at ease at kids club that, for the first time, we were happy to leave them there. The team were lovely and brilliant with them. Staff everywhere went out of their way to make the holiday special, and when we decided to add four days to our week, they arranged the extension and a move to another room without any fuss. The hotel was always clean, the food was basic but had what we needed, and there were fun extras like candy floss one evening and kebabs another. Plenty to do nearby, including lovely beaches. We’ll be back.

We were an American family of two parents and four kids, including a toddler, staying for a week. There was room for families of different sizes and for guests with disabilities, and the kids, whether quiet or loud, seemed welcome. We felt we could just be ourselves as a family. The beach is right there with direct access, plus there’s a children’s pool, a regular pool and a splash pad. Rooms were clean and comfortable, and requests for cleaning and service were handled quickly. Staff were kind, spoke English and Spanish, and were especially sweet with my daughter at the free childcare. The app is recommended a lot, but some of its information is missing and needs a person to explain it. There’s plenty for kids of different ages, teens included, though activities aren’t very well advertised, so you have to look them up. Evenings have children’s shows and dance parties. Food has a bit of everything and suits different ages and tastes, though it isn’t fine dining. The snack bar between meals meant we were less likely to spend money on food off site. The sister property is a five minute walk away. Its gym is free to use, with a small indoor commercial gym and an outdoor CrossFit style rig with turf, open 8 to 8. There’s also a spa circuit for a fee of 25€ per person. A few things to plan around: the bar doesn’t stay open all night, teens may need persuading to join activities, and free childcare needs advance reservations in three hour morning or afternoon blocks. Each family can use just one block a day. We had a great week and would gladly come back.
