Hovima Suites Costa Adeje

Would I stay here again? Definitely. It’s one of the better all inclusive places I’ve been to, with clean, comfortable rooms, good food and a lovely atmosphere around the hotel. The location makes it easy to get around and visit local attractions, and the pools were clean, a decent temperature and not too crowded. The food hall was roomy, very clean and had plenty of seating. The selection was good, and I’d rate the food around 7/10. There were always a few dishes we really liked. The rooms were quiet, with little noise from other rooms or outside. Beds were comfortable, the cleaner came daily, and the bedroom had a good sized TV. It was odd not to have one in the living area. We booked two one bedroom suites. One was ready when we arrived, but the one next door wasn’t ready until 2pm, which wasn’t a problem. The rooms were a good size. Our view was basically a brick wall, but we’d booked only 12 hours beforehand and got the last two rooms, so it wasn’t a big issue. When we arrived by coach, the outside looked a little disappointing, and my wife joked that with our luck this would be our hotel. Inside was much nicer. We were greeted promptly with free drinks by friendly staff. All inclusive soft drinks were fine, but we didn’t enjoy the cocktails or spirits. They tasted bad, probably the worst we’ve had, though we don’t drink much and it didn’t make a big difference to us. The rating of 3.9-4 out of 5 seems fair. I’d highly recommend staying here.

The room was spotless and lovely, with a sitting room, a large shower, kettle, tea facilities and a fridge. Ours was on the ground floor with no view, and I’d have preferred a higher room. Towels were changed daily if requested. We stayed half board for a week at the end of January, and the food was excellent with lots of choices. We could always find something my friend would enjoy, which can often be difficult. Wine and soft drinks were included at dinner, and the restaurant team worked incredibly hard in a busy hotel. Reception were friendly when we arrived, and the glass of prosecco was a nice touch. The pool areas always looked immaculate, with plenty to choose from, though we didn’t use them. The location was just right for us. Turn left for a ten minute walk to the seafront, then you can keep walking all the way to Los Chrisanos. Turn right and walk to the harbour at La Caleta, a beautiful route. We loved the hotel and will definitely return. It was an excellent holiday, and we hope to see you next year.

💗☀️ The pool setup was perfect for everyone, with one area for adults and another for families. There were plenty of sunbeds and the pools were clean and well organised. The food was another highlight, with fresh options and enough variety for all tastes. HOVIMA Suites Costa Adeje was spotless, modern and beautifully kept. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with everything we needed, and the beds and housekeeping were excellent. The atmosphere felt peaceful but still lively enough to enjoy. Last year we stayed when the hotel was still part of the Labranda chain, and there’s been a huge improvement since it became Hovima. The food and drinks are better, and the overall atmosphere has changed for the better too. The biggest change for us was the entertainment. Last year there was hardly anything besides the mini disco. This year the animation team did a brilliant job, and our daughter loved it, looking forward to each day. Thanks so much to Mili, Luismi and Ali for making the trip memorable. We’re already planning to come back next year. Highly recommend for families.
