Los Hibiscos

The location is great for getting to the beach, though the steep road down to the boulevard makes the area less convenient for wheelchair users. The hotel is a large complex with spacious rooms and balconies, plus a big pool at its center. In peak season, you have to put a towel on a sunbed early or they may all be taken. One wing has a lovely sun deck with a hot tub and cushioned loungers. The indoor and outdoor bars offer plenty of drinks, most covered by all-inclusive. Entertainment is decent, depending on your taste, and is aimed mainly at the mostly German guests.

The food was amazing, with plenty of meat, seafood, vegetables and fruit, and I found something to suit my tastes every time. Cocktails were part of the all-inclusive deal too. Our room was well equipped and didn't feel old, and it was cleaned daily with fresh towels. The ocean was an easy, relaxed 5-7 minute walk away. The facilities were nice, and the location made it easy to get to the beach, shops, places to eat and drink, and other tourist spots. But what really made our 9-night stay wonderful was the staff. The way they treated my family was better than we've had at many 4- and 5-star hotels. Highly recommend!

We spent 9 days here. The food had loads of choice every day and tasted great, and the staff were friendly, kind and hard-working. The rooms were really clean and nice, though the pillows are hard, so bring your own if you don't like that. Our room looked straight at another building, which was disappointing. There's plenty to do, with games and entertainment arranged daily. The location was handy too, with the beach nearby, a bus stop right outside, and a small shopping center across the street. You can rent a scooter next door using an app, and Siam Park is about a 10-minute walk away. Excursions can also be booked at the hotel.
