Marazul felt like a peaceful escape from the moment we arrived. The gardens are full of hibiscus, bougainvillea, bird of paradise and palm trees, stretching down to the coast. We could see the Atlantic and neighboring La Gomera from almost everywhere on the property, and the surroundings were stunning. The staff were warm and professional, from reception to housekeeping, and the rooms and shared areas were immaculate. The amenities were well cared for, and the team seemed committed to making guests feel welcome. Under Director/Administrator Mrs. De Ataide’s attentive leadership, the resort was run with real care and efficiency. We had an exceptional stay at Marazul in Adeje, Tenerife, Canary Islands.

Back for another lovely stay at this peaceful oasis. The staff are fantastic, especially our maid for room 127 and Julien at reception.

The bar staff were the best part of the service, really pleasant. The kids enjoyed the nice pool, though they weren’t interested in the kids club after we were told the staff wouldn’t speak English because they were already speaking French. The lifeguard was over the top and wouldn’t let my daughter use her small inflatable ring. The pool closes at 7, which is fine, but I saw a family arrive at 6:50 and look around. When it turned 7, security shouted at them to leave the pool area. Not a great first impression. The hotel is dead in the evenings, so we went out for entertainment. Luckily we had a car, and Costa Adeje centre was about a 15-20 minute drive. It’s a shame there isn’t more around the hotel, because it could be very good.

We had a fantastic two-week stay with four people in a two-bedroom flat overlooking the pool and ocean. The beds were comfortable, and the kitchen worked well, with a dishwasher and everything needed for proper cooking. The croissants in the morning were fantastic, though you do have to buy them. Staff were friendly and helpful, and we were close to popular beaches, restaurants, shops and bars. We had a great time.

We stayed in a private bungalow but could use the hotel facilities at this beautiful complex, away from central Adeje’s busy area. There’s pretty much everything on site, including a restaurant, bar, shop and market, bakery, massage and entertainment. The pool is large and heated to a lovely temperature. Most people there were French, but everyone was friendly and welcoming. I’d recommend having a car, though buses are available too.
