Royal Hideaway Corales Villas

The restaurants and drinks were a real highlight. Breakfast had a great selection, dinner at Bonfire Restaurant was lovely, and Materia Bar made some genuinely creative drinks. We didn’t try Crater Restaurant because we don’t eat meat and its meat-heavy menu couldn’t be adjusted for us. The setting has spectacular views, and the week was a relaxing sunny break. Staff throughout were professional and attentive. One thing to know is that a road runs directly beneath the pool. The noise was manageable, but it took away a little from the quiet we’d expected, and the photos online don’t make the road’s closeness clear. Weekend breakfast also felt busier than we liked. We assume walk-in bookings for non-guests contribute to the crowds, so it may be worth reviewing capacity to keep mornings relaxed for hotel guests.

The room cleaning was incredible, with thorough service even several times a day. Andrea, Andreea, Jose, and Carla were especially friendly and attentive, and the varied, fresh breakfast had something for everyone. This is a beautiful new hotel in a peaceful spot away from the busy tourist areas, with lovely sea views. The fitness area could use an upgrade, and receptionist Rafael didn’t have the warmth or professionalism we found elsewhere. Even so, we had a wonderful stay and will definitely return.

We’ve been here nine days and honestly don’t want to leave. We’d planned to go to Abu Dhabi, but changed plans because of what was going on in the world. Now the UAE has some serious competition. This place feels just as luxurious as any hotel in dubai or Abu. Everything feels top quality, from the food and cocktails to the room fittings, linen, and balcony furniture. The grounds and pool are immaculate too. A special thanks to housekeeping for keeping the rooms spotless and leaving bedtime treats. It’s been a wonderful stay, and we’ll be back very soon.

The villa was right beside a street with constant, very noticeable traffic noise. I’d booked a luxury villa expecting a calm, high-end stay without hassle, so that was a real disappointment. At this price and hotel level, I wouldn’t expect to have to deal with such a basic issue, let alone write a review about it. Next time I’d likely choose somewhere like Bahía del Duque, where peace and privacy seem to be part of the experience.
