Apartamentos Tinerfe Garden

The pool area was nice, with plenty of beds, and the location was good. Our small apartment had no windows, and there was mould in the bathroom. After we were moved, we saw a man go into our old room with paint, apparently just to paint over the mould.

Our budget room was clean and tidy, with lovely air conditioning and a safe. There was no outside space apart from a table and two chairs. The location is great, the pool area is nice, and the pool bar staff were very friendly.

The location is brilliant, and the restaurant is exceptionally good. Our room was clean and spacious, and the towels were changed every second day. Staff were so friendly, and the owner was often on site, even picking up rubbish. I’d read a post saying rubbish bags were left around, but those bags were actually the cleaners’ linen, all sealed for changing the room. We’ve just got back and, for the price, we were happy with what we got. We’ll be back like the other returning guests.

The pool is beautiful and shallow all the way through, with no deep end, but it can get packed with inflatables and holidaymakers making human pyramids. There weren’t enough sunbeds, and people saved rows with towels then didn’t turn up until 3 pm. Our top-floor balcony was too small to sunbathe on, with room for only a table and chair. The room itself was clean, recently updated, and had a new kitchen and air conditioning. There was building work on the other apartments, including a cement mixer outside our block, though it wasn’t noisy. Breakfast on site was good for a reasonable price, and dinner was good value with plenty of choice. The location is handy, with lots of bars and shops nearby.
