Mirador del Cabo Hotel Adults Recommended

The staff and food were excellent, and every bedroom, along with the bar and restaurant, has a sea view. There are a lot of steps down to the pool, its bar and terrace, and the lovely pebble beach with clear water and a bar. You can avoid almost all of them by walking around on the road from the hotel entrance. If steps aren't a problem, this is an excellent hotel.

The lack of any non-smoking areas brings my rating down, especially with young kids. As a non-smoker, I don't understand why I had to sit among smokers outside during the entertainment and breathe in their cigarette smoke. Otherwise, I can't really fault the place: the food is good, staff are pleasant and attentive, it's clean, and both pools are kept clean. There are two pools, a jacuzzi, and a private beach, really a mini beach.

The hotel lets people smoke everywhere, and at times it's unbearable. With so many children and non-smokers at what seems to be a family hotel, they should have designated smoking areas and banned smoking in some places. The food was good, with limited choice, but we never left the restaurant hungry. Rooms were clean, the AC worked well, and the location was great. I loved hearing the ocean from the hotel. If you're on the first or second floor, I'd take the stairs, since waiting for the lift is a waste of time. The facilities are spread across a big complex, so we didn't even realize there were two pools for the first couple of days. Go explore. Just before we left, my daughter nearly swallowed dirt from the drinks dispenser. It looked like it had been sitting there a while, so I questioned how clean it was. After that we stuck to bottled water.

The view is second to none, and the rooms feel fairly luxurious. There's also a small private beach beside the hotel. Still, I found the rooms a bit too small, and the service could be a little better.
