The rooms were comfortable and clean, and ours had the bed up on a mezzanine. Anyone with mobility issues should check the accessibility before booking. The staff were warm and helpful, and it was very welcoming to dogs. We enjoyed lunch and dinner there, then breakfast the next morning, with excellent food throughout. The lovely building sits just outside town. If you're stopping on the way to the ferry, leave a little time to explore the interesting area.

The hotel is in a pretty building in a quiet spot, with good road access if you're heading to Santander or Bilbao. Staff were friendly and helpful, and our half-board evening meal and breakfast were both good for the price. Parking worked well for us on motorbikes, which we could bring into the courtyard by reception. Cars stay outside the courtyard, but that wasn't a problem. Our room was listed as a garden-view Duplex. It was an unusual setup: a small bathroom with a low ceiling, and a little sleeping area above it on a mezzanine. The two single beds were arranged in an L, head to head, and there wasn't much room up there. Getting to the beds meant climbing a fairly steep staircase, so I wouldn't recommend this layout for anyone with mobility difficulties. The room was generally nice, though the shower could use a curtain or screen, and the carpet was worn through in places. We enjoyed the stay, but would pick another room type next time if the layout might be an issue.

After driving overnight from Murcia, this was exactly the stop we needed. The room was spectacular, and breakfast from the buffet was lovely. The staff were kind and really helpful. Covid restrictions were being followed while we were there. We're having dinner here too, and looking forward to it.

A really picturesque, fantastic place, and the rooms are so tiny they somehow make them amazing. The downside is that you can hear everything through the walls. I couldn't sleep because the people next door were having so much fun...
