Surrounded by lush greenery, this house has a real Canary Islands feel. The birds wake you gently, so there’s no need for an alarm, and at night you can hear nature all around. We spent four days here, and especially loved the nights when the fog rolled in. You almost don’t want them to end. There are lots of charming little touches, including the fireplace, coffee machines, and a terrace that’s great for breakfast or coffee at sunset. You don’t need to be in a haunted house to feel enchanted.

We loved staying in this typical Canarian house and its beautiful setting. The house was comfortable and had everything we needed, including radiators for when we felt cold. We used those a bit, along with the fireplace. The average temperature is 20 degrees Celsius, but it’s a humid area, so you’ll need a coat at night. After dark, we could hear frogs and not much else. We’ll definitely be back.

It’s a typical rural place, but we found it very humid and cold. There are heaters in every room and dehumidifiers, yet the walls feel cold to the touch and the paint is bubbling from the damp. The area is difficult to access.
