The smell was strong, there were mosquitoes, and I couldn’t find anything inspiring about the place. Breakfast was poor, the inner courtyard looked neglected, and the room door couldn’t even be closed, so it was noisy. The bathroom was shared by many people, and the swimming pool was dirty. For the poor quality of the services, the whole stay felt really expensive. Spain is wonderful, but this place isn’t.

The mountain setting is wonderful for walks, with caves and forests to explore nearby, plus roads for motorcycle circuits and mountain outings. There are fabulous landscapes for photographing nature and animals. This special macia is tucked away from light pollution, which makes it ideal for night and Milky Way photography. It’s spacious and set up for large groups, and there’s a pool too.

Brisa was friendly, attentive, and gave excellent service. The farmhouse has shared spaces including a kitchen and living room, along with outdoor areas. It’s only a few kilometers from Barcelona, yet a great spot to unwind in nature and quiet. The details are well cared for, while the place still feels authentic and keeps its original rustic character.

We loved our stay and will be back! Brisa was generous and attentive, and showed us around while explaining the history and details of each room. It’s a lovely country house if you want to be close to nature and animals and get away from the city bustle. The shared kitchen and bathroom and other common areas feel rustic and welcoming. There are terraces with tables and chairs, as well as a pool area.
