We’d booked weeks ahead, but when we tried to confirm our arrival time a few days before, we were told the hotel would be closed that day. After that, our emails got no reply and nobody picked up the phone. Sure enough, both the hotel and its affiliated restaurant were closed when we arrived. Luckily, a kind waiter at the restaurant opposite knew the owner and called them directly, so we eventually got a key. The room was very nice, but the WiFi didn’t work. When we mentioned it at reception, they just shrugged. We felt like a nuisance to the owner. It didn’t feel as if the hotel was really open, and we shouldn’t have been able to book. Weird experience, and I can’t recommend it for that reason.

A wonderful room with a four-poster bed and mountain views. It’s right in the middle of everything, yet quiet. I’d stay again.

8/10
It’s a two-story building without an elevator. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was spacious, though the decor felt a bit too ornate for my taste. It was very hot when we arrived at night. There was a fan, and luckily the rain cooled things down a little.

There’s no air conditioning, but luckily it cooled down just as we arrived. Our room was very peaceful and quiet, with an unbeatable view. If you like a rustic medieval style, this is the place for you.

Our room was dirty and neglected, and the facilities had a complete lack of hygiene, cleanliness, and maintenance. The place needs a full renovation, and above all, the cleaning service needs to do its job. We paid €200 for a stay in appalling condition.
