Cabaña Del Tío Pepe

We were three, and the sofa bed made for a rough night. I woke up with back pain, and the light and noise mean you shouldn't count on sleeping past 6:30 am. For a couple, though, I'd recommend it 100%. The place itself is beautiful, with sensational decor and atmosphere. Guests get the whole two-floor house, including a lovely upstairs bedroom with a bathtub and a really cool wine cellar downstairs, surprisingly cool for July 8th.

We spent three nights here and would come back. The cabin was cozy, the mattress very comfortable, and the bathtub was perfect. María and Isabel were so friendly. We also visited the winery half a minute from the house. The man there was very kind, and the winery was really cool. A great spot to unwind. It gets cold in winter, but the heaters help. 👏🏻 Thanks! 👏🏻

The main double bed was very good, and the cave-like dining area was interesting. Dogs are allowed too. The extra bed, though, was a reclining sofa, and it left me with significant neck and back pain for the whole next day. In Borja, I highly recommend La Bóveda, an extraordinary restaurant with a great cachopo. We left the house spotless, but were very upset when the owner complained about dog hair, especially after charging us an extra €48 for two dogs for three days. Usually places thank you for leaving everything so nice. Anyway...

I had low expectations for the hotel, but the restaurant really surprised me. The food is better than what you get at a lot of city restaurants.
