We wanted somewhere quiet, and mid-October was lovely and peaceful, even though the week was close to the end of the season. Nearby restaurants were still open. The villa was spacious, clean and well equipped, with a great pool and very good internet. It’s an easy 15-minute walk down to the centre, though the uphill walk back takes longer.
