There’s a lovely sense of calm throughout the house, and the heating and room insulation both work perfectly. Even with its fully eco-friendly structure and systems, it suits families and groups without taking away from the comfort or relaxation. We had a very, very pleasant stay, and the owners were incredibly friendly. No complaints at all. We encourage everyone to support this wonderful project.
We joined Xavier’s bat workshop in the Ports Natural Park, and it was incredible. He’s a passionate bat enthusiast and a great communicator. Roc or I may have been the more excited one! 😅😅 It was a great way to discover Marta and Xavi’s personal project in a privileged setting in Teruel province, right by the Catalonia border in Arenys de Lledó, past Horta de Sant Joan. Thanks for the warm, personal welcome and all the care. We’ll try to come back. See you soon! 😊
The owners, Marta and Xavi, are what make this place especially memorable. Their lifelong project shows that ways of living can respect nature and the environment, and that we have a choice. The rural house is a dream, in an exceptional location, and the whole experience was wonderful. We’ll definitely return.
Surrounded by peace and nature, Marta and Xavi share their life project with real passion and dedication. The comfort, cleanliness, service, food, and care in every detail all stood out, as did their deep respect for the environment, nature, and the planet. An experience I’d happily repeat. I’ll be back.
They offer lots of activities through their workshops, and crossing Spain from south to north to find myself at Mas la Llum was worth it. I can’t say enough about Xavi and Marta’s hospitality, or their commitment to the environment. I never imagined materials like these could be used to build so solidly and safely. It’s an exceptional place to reconnect and feel harmony between people and nature. A place of PEACE. I highly recommend the experience.
