The location was the best thing about this villa: it's about five minutes from town and five minutes from the caves. Beyond that, we were disappointed. The pool was dirty, with green scum around the edge that turned our swim gear green and yellow on the first day. Floats left there also had green buildup at the bottom. The cheap sun loungers were uncomfortable and falling apart. All four adults in our group had trouble sleeping on the old, uncomfortable beds, with springs coming through. We were glad our stay was only a week. The villa needs updating inside and out. The kitchen was barely adequate, and the barbecue was useless and felt completely unsafe around children. There weren't enough suitable glasses either, with no prosecco flutes and no proper wine or beer glasses. We've stayed in many villas, and this was the worst by far. It was nowhere near worth the price, so if you're staying in Cala en Porter, I'd spend the money elsewhere. We were there in September 2022.
