Hotel Rural Imada

The view and location are stunning. Our late arrival after missing a ferry was handled really nicely. As long as you keep in touch over Whatsapp, they're great about it. The rooms were decent, though my bathroom door wouldn't shut, the toilet kept running after I pressed the big button unless I fiddled with it, and there was no ironing board. The extra blankets and small heater are there for anyone who gets cold, though we didn't need them during our stay. The only service issue was that the price changed when a second person was added, even though we'd said from the start that there would be two of us. I suspect Booking.com and other third-party sites may have caused the mix-up, and think it could be sorted out. Make sure you drive, since getting here by bus or taxi probably won't be much fun. I enjoyed the stay and would visit again.

A quiet, nicely kept place away from the usual routes, but still within reach of Playa de Santiago and other sites. Checking in and out was easy, and the owners replied very quickly.

We got a very friendly welcome and a delicious breakfast. The hotel is delightful, peaceful and very quiet, and it makes a good base for walking. Just keep in mind there are no evening meals. The bar across the road is closed on Fridays, so you'll need to go to Alajero or somewhere else to eat. I'd definitely visit again.

The host was lovely, and the location was awesome with rooms that had a view. I had an amazing experience and only wish I'd been able to stay longer.
