Hotel Principe

We ate in the adjoining bar and restaurant after walking around Albacete on a cold, miserable Monday night. The Iberico pork loin with fried potatoes was immaculate, impossible to improve on. Fresh bread and a glass of local wine came with it, and the two of us paid €35. Service was friendly, a perfect end to the day. We'd arrived on spec in the late afternoon, and stayed the night of 26/02/2024. Parking around the corner on the street cost about €3 until we left the next morning. The room was €40, small and plain but clean, with twin beds and an immaculate modern bathroom with an excellent shower. No complaints, it suited our purpose.

The male receptionist was fantastic and couldn't do enough to help us, so thank you 🙏 The room was okay, and the location was great. We stayed on the night there was no power.

The staff we met were friendly, efficient, and helpful, and the price was very good value. The rooms were closed in the current covid situation, unfortunately, but the bar next door, affiliated with the hotel, was excellent. The bedrooms are clean and quaintly furnished, though a little tired and due for refurbishment. In August the air-con is indispensable, but the unit was so loud it sounded like an aeroplane landing.

The room was big, cozy, and clean, and the price was budget-friendly. Reception were very friendly and helpful. They also welcomed my bicycle. I can recommend it.
